Bullock Museum launches Texas Artists Series

The Bullock Texas State History Museum is launching a new quarterly Texas Artists Series that will feature various Lone Star-based artists working in music, theater, literature and performing arts.

First up in the series is pianist James Dick, who is also founder of the Round Top Festival Institute. Dick will perform a solo recitial Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.

Dick will play works by Schubert, Beethoven and Chopin.

Tickets are $15 for the concert and $25 for the concert and a reception.

Future events on the Bullock’s Texas Artists Series will include poetry readings, musical and other types of performances.
