Blanton Museum announces key hires

The Blanton Museum of Art has announced two appointments to its staff.

Karen Sumner is the museum’s new director of development. For the past nine years, Sumner has been the development director at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Previous positions include director of development of the Mid-Pacific Institute and vice president of development for the Honolulu Symphony.

Gabriela Truly has nammed dector of collections and exhibitions. Most recently Truly has been the director of collections management at the Dallas Museum of Art.
