There’s a crazy cluster of classical music to choose from this weekend.


Les Frères Méduses. Guitarists Randall Avers and Benoit Albert “Memoria” — Les Frères Méduses (the Jellyfish Brothers) — return to Austin to premiere “Memoira” a new work by Austin Classical Guitar composer-in-residence Joseph V. Williams II. The two-movement is heavily inspired by the musical tradition of Hungary. 8 p.m. Saturday. GT Austin, 2700 Northland Drive. 512-300-2247,

Austin Civic Orchestra. Composer Anthony Iannaccone will be there to introduce his piece “Dancing on Vesuvius.” Also on the Iannacoone piece, on the program is Mother Goose Suite by Ravel, Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis” and Bottesini’s “Concerto No. 2 in B minor.” Preconcert talk at 6:30 p.m.; concert at 7:3o p.m. Saturday. “Love Triangle.” Austin Chamber Music spotlights the influence of Clara Schumann, wife of Robert Schumann, muse of Johannes Brahms, and a talented composer in her own right.
