After a successful first exhibition that opened in tandem with the East Austin Studio Tour, Art Science Gallery is launching its second exhibit on Friday, the “Art/Science Trading Card Exhibition.”

Science and nature-themed mini trading card-sized art by artists from around the country will be featured and will be for sale. The gallery will also launch its online library of art/science library cards.

Art Science Gallery found Hayley Gillespie reports that for the time being she’ll keep a temporary space going at Canopy, the newish arts complex on Springdale Road, where she held her pop-up exhibit during EAST. Gillespie is still working out details for a more permanent location for her gallery, which will focus on science-related art. In the meantime, the Canopy digs will serve as a temporary home.

“Art/Science Trading Card Exhibition”

Opening: 7 to 11 p.m. Friday

Exhibit continues through Jan. 5
