“It’s Like a Sculpture, But With More Breakdancing” by Dallas artist Sergio Garcia is elegant yet whimsical, a pinwheel-like fusion of vintage schooldesks.

The piece is part of “Con/Juntos,” the 18th annual Young Latino Artists exhibit at Mexic-Arte Museum through Sept. 8.

“Con/Juntos” curator Michael Anthony Garcia will give a gallery talk at 2 p.m. July 13. Admission is free. www.mexic-artemuseum.org
