Sunday

Little Woodrow’s Crawfish Boil. The season of the mudbug has returned. The downtown location of Little Woodrow’s hosts a crawfish boil with live music from Gumbo Ya Ya and Karbach beer specials. It’s recommended to get there as soon as it starts. 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. 520 W. Sixth St. facebook.com/events/723703211367582/

Monday

South by Almost West Showcase. Two of the biggest underground collectives, Vibe Vessel and House Works Presents, are joining forces to spice up the beginning of this week, South by Southwest or not. There will be techno, deep tech, house and tech-house selections. 5 p.m. Monday. Vulcan Gas Company, 418 E. Sixth St. facebook.com/events/250466939292178/

Tuesday

St. Patrick’s Day at B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub. The poster advertising the bar’s biggest day of the year is pretty blunt about it: “If you’re looking for green beer, you’re in the wrong pub.” But if you want a day of authentic music and food and that perfect Guinness pour, B.D. Riley’s is the place to be. 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. 204 E. Sixth St. and 1905 Aldrich St. bdrileys.com/calendar/st-patricks-day-11.

St. Patrick’s Day at Bluebonnet Beer Co. Live in the Round Rock area? Head to Bluebonnet after work for a taste of three Irish-style brews: a dry Irish stout on nitro, Irish red ale and a rare Irish draft ale on nitro. Jimmy Vega’s will be on-site serving Irish fare such as shepherd’s pie. 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. 1700 Bryant Drive, Round Rock. facebook.com/events/133840574671735/

Wednesday

10th annual Revival at Lucy’s Fried Chicken. One of the city’s best mid-March daytime events for the past decade, the Revival put together an especially strong lineup this year. It’s possible there may be a few dropouts, but this is likely to be a top destination if Lucy’s retains most of the scheduled acts, which include Ian Moore and Tomar & the FCs on Wednesday. (Revival runs through Sunday.) Noon to 7 p.m. each day. 2218 College Ave. lucysfriedchicken.com. — Peter Blackstock

Friday

The Big Lebarrelski Special Release at Pinthouse Pizza. Pinthouse might be known most for its IPAs, but the brewpub also makes exceptional stouts, barrel-aged and otherwise. Head to the Burnet location for the Big Lebarrelski and boozy variants. 11 a.m. Friday. 4729 Burnet Roadd. facebook.com/events/631511424350427/
