Austin’s premiere music emporium, Waterloo Records will not be hosting a big parking lot bash during South by Southwest 2020.

Instead, Waterloo reps say the store is "taking things back to the good ol’ raucous days of Iggy & the Stooges, El-P, The Kills, etc and throwing our day parties on our inside stage."

This year’s lineup leans heavily on up-and-comers featuring sets by buzzy Irish post-punk outfit, the Murder Capital, singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy and Cuban indie pop outfit Sweet Lizzy Project who will be joined by Raul Malo of the Mavericks. Georgia rockers, Algiers are also on the bill.

In addition to the events at their store on Lamar Boulevard, Waterloo will be hosting an event with Terry Allen and the Panhandle Mystery Band at GSD&M courtyard on March 18th at 7 p.m. The event will include a performance, a meet and greet and a screening of the documentary about Allen, "Everything (For All Reasons).
