This odd question sparks a firestorm in Yasmina Reza’s Tony- and Olivier Award-winning comedy, produced by the City Theatre, about the lives of three old friends; the meaning of art and life; and the lengths we go to protect those we care about. Needless to say, the trouble starts when Marc’s friend, Serge, buys an all-white painting.

Among the many ways in which the Austin Music Foundation supports local musicians is its Artist Development Program, which "provides advanced career development, one-on-one mentoring and unique opportunities for growth," per the nonprofit’s website. Warm up this winter with beer and good times — and puppy snuggles, too. The Pflugerville brewery Compadre Brewing is helping to raise money in the new year for animals at the Pflugerville Animal Shelter with this dog-friendly event. There will be a raffle and auction with prizes from K & A Grooming, West Pecan Coffee + Beer, Tiff's Treats, and more. Kendra Scott will have a pop-up shop as well as a photo booth.
5. Aussie Wildfire Relief Benefit at the Little Darlin’

On Australia Day, the Little Darlin’ bar is partnering Charity Craft Collective to help those who have been affected by the devastating bushfires in Australia. All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Red Cross AU and World Wildlife Fund AU. The benefit includes a silent auction, raffle, face painting and live music by the Joe Jacksons and Mili & Bertie. The silent auction starts at noon, and you must be present to win.
