Oscar-winning former Austinite Ryan Bingham, Grammy-winning folk-rocker Melissa Etheridge and Country Music Hall of Fame members the Oak Ridge Boys are among the music acts lined up for this year’s Rodeo Austin, which runs March 14-28 at the Travis County Exposition Center.

The event usually focuses on country performers with a handful acts from other genres added in, and the 2020 roster is no exception. In addition to Bingham (who now lives in Los Angeles), other country include Texans Robert Earl Keen, Aaron Watson, Kevin Fowler, the Eli Young Band and Flatland Cavalry. Joining the Oak Ridge Boys as non-Texans in the country realm are Carly Pearce, Lee Brice and Jon Pardi.

Besides Etheridge, who’s well-known for her activism for gay rights and environmental issues in addition to her music, acts in other genres playing the Rodeo this year include Dallas-via-Mexico outfit La Energia Norteña, whose album "Poco a Poco" is nominated for Best Regional Mexican Music Album at this weekend’s Grammy Awards; pop/R&B vocal group 98 Degrees; and Utah alt-rockers Neon Trees. One additional performer will be announced later.

Tickets start at $20 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, via the event’s website.
