Austin Trail of Light Fun Run. The eighth annual Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run and Fest is, indeed, just for fun — the 2.1 mile jog is untimed, so make sure to bring your own watch or enjoy a relaxed effort. The course begins at the Zilker Holiday Tree and loops through the festivities. Jonas Brothers at the Erwin Center. After a six-year hiatus, a tense drinking game (captured on film in Amazon documentary “Chasing Happiness”) helped the brothers Jonas clear the bad blood and come back together as a group. Ballet Austin’s “The Nutcracker.” The world’s best-known ballet has been an Austin tradition for 57 years.
