Nightlife

Deep Eddy Cabaret's 68th and Pool Burger Second Anniversary Party. It’s not every day that a local business turns 68 years old. The neighboring Pool Burger also has a birthday, so there’s double reason to celebrate. The all-day party starts with a ceremonial screening of the 1980 classic “Caddyshack” and then continues for the remainder of the day with live music performances from honky tonker Gary P. Nunn and other artists. 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday. Free. 23155 Lake Austin Blvd. facebook.com/events/718772691949032/

Music

PJ Morton at Scoot Inn. Over the past few years, the smooth crooner and Maroon 5 keyboardist has been rising through the ranks of modern R&B/soul singers. He picked up a Grammy for his slow burning jam, “How Deep Is Your Love,” earlier this year and his 2019 release, “Paul,” is a rich platter that lays Morton’s silky vocals over funky dance cuts, gospel-laced confessionals, searing soul protests and steamy bedroom R&B. Asiahn and Pell open. $25. 7 p.m. doors Saturday. 1308 E. Fourth St. scootinnaustin.com. — Deborah Sengupta Stith
