Hopfields’ Eighth Anniversary Party. The French-focused gastropub with a focus on craft beer celebrates eight years in business carnival-style, with lots of balloons and other decorations. Daniel Johnston “Speeding Motorcycle” reunion at Carousel Lounge. Tributes to the legendary outsider artist and songwriter have popped up frequently since his death in September, but this one has a special twist. Members of the band and cast of the 2008 Zachary Scott production of “Speeding Motorcycle,” a musical based on Johnston’s tunes, are reconvening for this 20-song performance.
