Umlauf After Dark. The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum is beautiful during the day, but it’s also lovely in a different way in the evening. This monthly event gives you access to the Umlauf after hours. On Tuesday, there will be live music from Jeff Plankenhorn, drinks from Austin Beerworks and Tito's Handmade Vodka, handmade goods and art from Ruby & Violet, lawn games and food from PitaLicious. 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 5. Contigo x St Elmo Brewing Grill Night. The East Austin restaurant Contigo is excited to welcome South Austin brewery St. Elmo to Contigo for the next bar collaboration event. The $25 tickets will include live music, three 8 oz. tasting pours of a very cool roster of seasonal St. Elmo Brewing beers, a final full pint from the bar, and sausage and sides from the Contigo backyard grill. “Happiness Is a Journey” at Big Medium Gallery. The "Happiness Is a Journey" show curated and co-created by artists Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan chronicles the daily life and art of Bear Lopez, an East Austin resident of 60 years and a 20-year delivery man of the American-Statesman.
