When we published our Austin-area guide to frozen yogurt last week, we asked readers to suggest any great fro-yo spots we may have missed. Here are two more places we’d like to recommend. Want to read the full list? Check it out here. Have a shop we’ve missed? Let us know at kfinan@statesman.com.

TCBY PARKSIDE VILLAGE

I’m going to break my own rule of excluding national chains because every time I’ve visited this Circle C shop I’ve been impressed with the friendly, local-hangout vibe, the wide rotation of flavors and the well-stocked toppings bar. The shop also serves up eight flavors of hand-dipped yogurt that’s scooped just like ice cream.

Recent flavors: White chocolate mousse, golden vanilla, chocolate, Italian tart, marshmallow, peanut butter.

Recent toppings: Gummy frogs, mini-M&Ms, yogurt chips, whipped cream, fresh fruit.

Sample-cup situation: Readily available.

Cool extra: The TVs are always tuned to something fun and upbeat that will appeal to shop’s many tween and teen customers.
