National Hammock Day Celebration. Yeah, yeah, there’s an arbitrary holiday for just about everything nowadays, but this one just sounds so blissful. Kammok is hosting an afternoon party at its shop with live music, food trucks, beers and more to get us all geared up for National Hammock Day on Sunday. Share stories of past campouts, grab last-minute camping needs and more. 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Free. Kammok Gear Shop, 1401 E. Coming up

Austin Beerworks’ Einhorn Summer Party. Austin Beerworks’ beloved Einhorn Berliner Weisse has finally returned in time for the dog days of summer. To celebrate, the North Austin brewery is throwing a party with Einhorn on tap, as well as four fruited Finkle variants: Sour Cherry, Watermelon Mint, Pineapple Strawberry and Pomegranate Blood Orange. Plus, a giant unicorn sprinkler will keep kids and adults alike entertained, and unicorn and other sparkly attire is encouraged. (Einhorn is ‘unicorn’ in German.) 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Free. 3001 Industrial Terrace. facebook.com/events/27266978349782.

"Playpen" at Fallout Theater. The connection that forms between audience and participant is a great example of what makes Austin comedy great. This is a rare show where literally every joke is new, a comic’s most vulnerable moment. Maybe the joke will end up on Comedy Central or die the death of a million groans. You bear witness to it all as hosted by Nikita Redkar and Elizabeth Spears. Did we mention it’s BYOB and pay what you want? 8 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. 616 Lavaca St. eventbrite.com/e/playpen-seasoned-stand-ups-fresh-material-tickets-44541263117. — Brently Heilbron
