Earlier this month,  Joe Seaward, the drummer for British indie band Glass Animals, suffered a broken leg and skull injury after he was hit by a truck while riding his bike in Dublin.

The band has canceled an upcoming North American tour which included a stop in San Marcos for Float Fest where the band was scheduled to headline the Sun Stage on Sunday, July 22.  Cold War Kids will take Glass Animals’ place on the bill.

“We hope for Joe Seaward’s speedy recovery and our hearts are with the @GlassAnimals family,” a post on Float Fest’s Twitter account said.

According to an Instagram post on the official Glass Animals account, Seaward suffered a complex skull injury in the accident. “After a couple of long operations, he is now on the road to recovery,” the post read.
