"Little Shop of Horrors." The Wimberley Players take on this musical — an irresistible mix of horror, comedy and rock, with music by composer Alan Menken — as their summer production. In "Little Shop of Horrors," a hapless florist assistant named Seymour discovers a new breed of plant he names Audrey II, in honor of his coworker crush. Foul-mouthed and R&B-singing, the carnivorous plant promises Seymour fame and fortune as long as he keeps feeding it blood. As you might imagine, Audrey II is not what it seems. 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday through July 22. $20-$26. 450 Old Kyle Road, Wimberley. wimberleyplayers.org.
