Look, Texas is a big state. It’s 801 miles from north to south and 731 miles east to west.

But if you’ve ever thought, "Hmm, could I run across the state of Texas?" A Rice University student has a hack for you.

According to KHOU in Houston, Rustam Zufarov spent the last six months planning a running route around Houston in the shape of the Lone Star State.

Zufarov is originally from Uzbekistan but over his three years in Houston, he’s come to love the state -- so last year, he was examining his running route when he had the idea to slightly alter the route to make it look like the outline of Texas. 

KHOU says he studied maps and asked strangers for advice, and after six months, he finally perfected it.
