National Rosé Day might be the second Sunday in June, but two restaurants in Austin are celebrating a week early with events that center on the beloved pretty-in-pink wine.
First up is Eberly’s second annual Rosé Soirée, which has expanded this time around to include the entire restaurant and will have more than 50 rosé labels available for tasting. But that’s not all: Austinites can also enjoy special rosé cocktails, frosé, light bites, a photo booth, DJ entertainment and more, included in the cost of each ticket.
The featured rosé cocktail is Toute la Journée, which means "all day" in French — as in, let’s drink rosé all day. It’s got Minuty Rosé from Provence, France; Tito’s Vodka; lemon juice; simple syrup; Aperol and Fever Tree Ginger Beer.
Eberly’s Rosé Soirée runs from noon to 6 p.m. June 3 and costs $50. Eberly is located at 615 S. Lamar Blvd. To purchase tickets and get more information, visit eberly.ticketleap.com/eberly-rose-soiree.
For an event easier on your pocketbook, Easy Tiger’s Rosé Day is also June 3. The free beer garden bash will include a Meet & Greet with winemaker Rae Wilson from Dandy, a flower bar with local florist Davy Gray, special menu pairings and a raffle benefiting Keep Austin Beautiful.
You also don’t want to miss the main booze offerings of the afternoon: an American Rosé Flight featuring Dandy, Hogwash and Stolpman Vineyards ($10); Le Charmel by the glass ($5); and Shacksbury Rosé Cider in a can ($6). It starts at noon June 3 at the main location, 709 E. Sixth St. For more information, visit easytigeraustin.com.
