Oh, you wanted to take your University of Texas graduation photos in front of the UT tower or the Littlefield Fountain? Maybe even at Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium?

That’s Carly Morris. She’s originally from Fort Worth and is graduating from UT in May with a bachelor of science in psychology. She’s also a member of Texas Wake, the wake boarding and wake surfing club at the university.
So is Kaylin Balderrama, a junior advertising student at UT and local photographer.
Morris came to Balderrama with the idea for the shoot, and the rest is ... well, pretty epic.

It was, as Balderrama put it on her blog, the “coolest senior picture session EVER.” Morris and Balderrama got together with Jacob Cope, owner of Lonestar Wake Rentals, for the shoot.
“It was 55 degrees that morning and the water was 65 degrees but the sun came out in perfect time for the shoot,” Balderrama said.?RELATED: ?What will happen when SXSW 2019 and UT spring break misalign?
Wake surfing is impressive enough -- but Morris managed to put on her cap and gown and smile for the camera while she stayed up on the board.
