Fans who braved the cold snap and headed down to John T. Floore’s Country Store this past Saturday were probably in Helotes for the 7th Annual Dia Del Gallo celebration, with performances by Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers and Charley Crockett. An added Miranda Lambert sighting was just a bonus.

According to Saving Country Music, Lambert was right there next to the outdoor stage during Childers’ set, posting a message about the independent country/bluegrass artist to her Instagram story: “@timmytychilders Couldn’t post a video I was saaangin too loud! #itscoldinTexas.”

The Longview native is on break from touring and took a trip back to Central Texas this past weekend. In addition to the Floore’s appearance, Lambert also made a stop at Junk Gypsy’s Junk-O-Rama Prom in Round Top.
