You might know 52-year-old retired German director Uwe Boll from such films as “Alone in the Dark,” the "Bloodrayne” series and lots of genre pictures of questionable taste.

What you might not know is that Boll also likes challenging people to fights. (See also the 2006 tournament “Raging Boll” in which he requested critics of his work step in the ring. Read all about it here.)

Now the A/V Club is reporting that  Boll has once again challenged someone to a fight, and his choice of foes has left many Austinites, Texans, Americans and citizens of the planet thinking, “Huh, why didn’t I think of that?”

Namely, Alex Jones.

Yes.

Uwe Boll would like to get in the ring with Alex Jones.

Boll threw down on Twitter on April 7 to issue a challenge to the apparently 44-year-old, Austin-based “Infowars” host. To wit:

The rant therein, delivered in English in Boll’s singular German accent, goes on for a while. You will probably want to listen to all of it here (uncensored).

No word yet from Jones on the call-out.

Any bar, club, rec center or large UT venue want to host such a confrontation?
