It’s almost summertime -- and almost baseball season.

To celebrate, the Alamo Drafthouse is offering screenings of everyone’s favorite (don’t fight me on this one) baseball movie: "The Sandlot."

It all kicks off on Saturday at The Long Time, Austin’s only ?actual sandlot baseball field, with a party to celebrate the movie’s 25th anniversary. The shindig will feature a "Meet the Beast" photo booth, food trucks, bars, live music, a wiffle ball home run derby contest, a campfire (to roast ‘mallows, obviously) and the screening itself.

You can also catch the movie at one of the Drafthouse’s famed movie parties on April 8, 9 and 12 at the Lakeline and Slaughter Lane locations. The party will feature "pre-movie shenanigans," specials on hot dogs and themed props. And you can snag one of these hats inspired by the kids of the ‘lot.
