Just days after a 17-year-old Austin musician was killed Monday in a package bombing, a local artist decided to pay tribute to Draylen Mason during a South by Southwest set.

Jaimee Harris honored Mason with a sign on her guitar bearing his name during her showcase Saturday night.

Mason, a senior at East Austin College Prep, was the principal double bass player in the Austin Youth Orchestra and the principal bassist in the youth music program Austin Soundwaves.

Hundreds of community members gathered to honor Mason at his school on Friday at a "Push for Peace" event to help people grieve. More than $92,000 has been raised as part of an online fundraising campaign to support Mason’s family.

Police are still working to find the person or people responsible for three separate mail bombing attacks. Esperanza Herrera, 75, was injured on Monday in an attack in East Austin. Anthony House, 39, was killed in the first bomb attack on March 2.
