When you hear the phrase "Keep Austin Weird," it's easy to forget who exactly the keepers of weirdness are. That's why you should get to know Anna Barr, who's been running a second-hand toy shop in south Austin — Anna's Toy Depot — for 30 years, and started the business as a toy delivery service to child care centers, driving a UPS-sized van behind her. But it's so much more than “weirdness” Anna peddles. With a passion for therapy, Anna has devoted much heart and know-how to an area of healing we should all probably do a little more of: play therapy. On this week's episode of "I Love You So Much," Anna shares her remarkable story, one that exemplifies the original DNA of Austin.
