With charismatic flair, wicked vocal skills and surprisingly sharp rhythm chops on the drum kit, rapper/singer Anderson.Paak was one of 2016’s  breakout stars. He a sleeper hit at South by Southwest 2016, thrilling crowds all over town before taking the Grulke Prize for Best Emerging Artist.

Later in the year, he returned to play a sunset getdown in Zilker Park during Austin City Limits Festival.

Since then, he’s been on a steady rise. He’ll be back in town later this summer as a special guest on J. Cole’s ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ tour which hits the Frank Erwin Center on August 19. Cole will also be presenting several artists from his Dreamville Records showcase, Bas, J.I.D and Ari Lennox, on the tour.
