If you’ve spent the last 25-plus years lamenting the loss of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks,” a cult-favorite television show that unfortunately lasted only two seasons, you’re probably feeling pretty pumped this week. The TV show is getting a reboot, and season three premieres on Showtime on Sunday night.

Of course, Austin is celebrating. Here’s where you can find fellow Twin Peaks fanatics, and perhaps even a damn good cup of coffee or two. It will be both wonderful and strange.

?Wednesday, May 17: Twin Peaks Trivia Night at The Volstead. The East Austin establishment you know and love is transforming into One Eyed Jack’s and quizzing you on the show (and yes, there will be coffee).

?Wednesday, May 17: Screening of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz. The screening is technically in celebration of the release of the movie’s soundtrack on vinyl, but rewatching the movie (which serves as a prequel to the two seasons of the TV show that aired in 1990 and 1991) will definitely hype you up for Sunday’s premiere.

?Thursday, May 18: ?She’s Filled With Secrets: A Twin Peaks Party at Cheer Up Charlie’s. Local musicians will play covers, renditions and Log Lady monologues, and there will be doughnuts, a “Lynchian-inspired drink” and vendors selling Twin Peaks merchandise. The Red River club is even hosting the launch of a Twin Peaks print zine, and there will be a themed photobooth. Costumes are encouraged, so get your Special Agent Dale Cooper on.

?Sunday, May 21: Twin Peaks Appreciation Brunch at Sidewinder. The themed menu will feature a “truly memorable omelet” station, damn good coffee, stacked doughnuts and of course, pie. You can win themed prizes in a raffle, and Twin Peaks-inspired beverages will accompany the brunch.

?Sunday, May 21: Watch the premiere at Native Hostel. The new establishment will serve the “Agent Cooper Special” starting at 7 p.m. (that’s cherry pie and coffee, of course) along with a charcuterie board and drink specials. The premiere starts at 8 p.m.

?Sunday, May 21: Watch the premiere at Radio Coffee & Beer. Big-screen projector-style.
