In need of a smile?
Well, here you go, courtesy of CBS Austin morning anchor Allison Miller.
At a recent Round Rock Express game, Miller had the honor of the throwing out the first pitch. That’s where this sweet tale starts, not stops.
After the – shall we say, creative – pitch, Miller had her 2-year-old daughter, Audrey, hand the ball off to her husband, Thomas.
This is where things really start to get good. Miller prompts her hubby to read the ball. On it he spots, “Little Slugger, coming December 2017.”
“What?” Thomas asks. “Are you serious?”
Yep, she’s serious. Baby No. 2 is on the way.
“Thomas and I are super excited for Audrey to be a big sister,” Miller said. “We’re planning on finding out if it’s a boy or girl when he/she arrives in late November or early December.”
Big congrats to the entire family!
Catch Miller, co-anchor Chris Saldaña, traffic anchor Chrisdyann Uribe and meteorologist Nicole Hartford weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. on CBS Austin, followed by “CBS This Morning.”
