Midday sports talk is back on 104.9 The Horn.
The schedule change became effective today.
Aside from the morning and afternoon drive-time slots, the station ditched most of its sports programming earlier this year after being taken over by new owners.
The remainder of the day now features music. Classic hits, to be exact.
The new midday show, which runs from noon to 1 p.m., is hosted by Alex Loeb, who hosted a show on The Horn with Sean Adams before the schedule changes.
Loeb, who is hosting solo this time around, is excited to be back on the air.
"I think it’ll be great having local sports talk back at middays," he said. "It’s been an exciting past two months and now that everything is falling into place, it honestly feels like The Horn is headed in a great direction."
In addition to the 104.9 FM frequency, you can also hear The Horn on 1260 AM.
