We already knew reality TV casting agents love Austin.

Now, apparently, so do game show producers.

Central Texans have popped up on several well-known programs lately, including "Jeopardy!" and "Let’s Make a Deal."

The trend continues this week, when five members of the Quinn family appear Wednesday on "Family Feud," which airs weekdays at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on KNVA, our local CW network affiliate.

Anne Quinn says her daughter talked the family into auditioning earlier this year at an open casting call here in Austin. Showrunners, it seems, liked what they saw and invited the family to a taping in Atlanta, "Feud’s" home base, this summer.

"It was so much fun," Quinn said. "Our enthusiasm, I think, is what won them over."

So, how’d they do? Well … they’re not allowed to tell us. But, either way, it’s pretty clear the family had a blast.

"We spent 90 percent of the day laughing," Quinn said. "They have a great production staff. Everyone there was super nice. They make you feel like they really want you to win."
