Everyone, it seems, wants to come to Austin for South by Southwest.

That includes ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who revealed today his show will originate from our fair city March 10-14.

During his visit, Kimmel will broadcast from the Long Center, welcoming a mix of yet-to-be-named celebrities and musical acts. He also plans to shoot comedy segments across Austin and statewide.

"Austin is one of my favorite cities and there is no place more fun than South by Southwest," he said in ABC’s announcement. "I can’t wait for March 10th. I’ll be the guy covered in barbecue sauce."

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 10:35 p.m. on KVUE, Channel 24. The Austin trip will mark the first time Kimmel has done a remote broadcast since moving to his new time slot in 2012, according to the network.

The show previously aired at 11:05 p.m.
