The Austin Film Societywill host a special screening of director Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 classic, "Blow-Up," at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

A 1960s-themed pre-party will start at 6:30 p.m., with complimentary 60s themed hair and nail bar in the Marchesa Theatre foyer, provided by Aveda Institute. Tribeza will be in attendance, shooting the best-coiffed for their magazine.

Ned Rifkin, former director of the Blanton, will introduce the film, which deals with swinging London and also offers a commentary on photography. It stars David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave and Sarah Miles.

Best-dressed attendees will be rewarded with special prizes at the event, so pull out your best box-dresses, mini skirts, turtle necks and psychedelic prints!
