Fans excited for the return of the Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez collaboration that produced the excellent 2005 film "Sin City" will have to wait a little longer for the duo’s next installation.

The opening date for "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" has moved from October 4 of this year to August 22, 2014. The movie, to be released by Dimension Films, is based on Miller’s series of graphic novels and is set to star Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson from "Sin City," along with newcomers Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, and many more.

The second "Sin City" movie is the second Frank Miller-inspired film to be bumped from the 2013 release calendar. Warner Bros. has pushed the release of "300: Rise of an Empire" to 2014. Rodriguez fans won’t have to wait until next year for the filmmaker’s next movie, however. "Machete Kills" hits theaters September 13.
