If you missed Blink-182 at last year’s X Games Austin, or if you somehow managed to skip The Naked and Famous at Austin City Limits Music Festival in October, fear not. The bands are teaming up for a so-weird-it-could-work double feature at Austin360 Amphitheater on March 22.
The elder statesmen of pop-punk are extending their summer 2016 tour with a few 2017 dates, and they’ll kick off the leg right here in Austin, joined by the New Zealand alt-rockers behind soaring songs like “Higher.”
ALSO COMING SOON:
Muse, 30 Seconds From Mars to play Austin360 Amphitheater in June
Deftones, Rise Against coming to Austin360 Amphitheater this summer
Lady Gaga to play Erwin Center in December
Tickets for the show, presented by 101X, go on sale Saturday at 10:00 a.m. General admission tickets are $79.50; reserved, seated tickets are $39.50, $59.50 and $79.50; and lawn tickets are $19.50.
If you miss the Austin stop, you can head to NRG Stadium in Houston on March 23. We hear that’s a good place to see a pop spectacle.]]
