Lenoir hosts a pig roast and burgundy fest on Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Chef Todd Duplechan and his crew will serve peach-wood-roasted porchetta and whole roasted epazote pig, along with sides like curried broccoli. Winflo Osteria hosts its inaugural Austin Meatball Festival Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Restaurants such as Benji’s Cantina, Mulberry, Cipolina, and Lucky’s Puccia will compete, along with Winflo, in a competition that benefit nonprofits Fresh Chefs Society and Citizen Generation. Events space the North Door, which has recently expanded its kitchen operations, is hosting a dinner-and-a-movie event on November 22 at 7 p.m. Sausage master Tom Micklethwait of the trailer Micklethwait Craft Meats will prepare a turducken Thanksgiving dinner to be served while dysfunctional-family film "The Royal Tenenbaums" rolls on the big screen.
