A-OK Chinese restaurant opened at 1509 S. Lamar Blvd. The take-out and dine-in operation from chef John Bullington (Mars, Alamo Drafthouse) and longtime service industry veteran Jerry Reid (Olivia, Lucy’s) features a menu of Americanized Chinese classics like orange sweet and sour chicken and lemon ginger chicken. They also serve beer and wine (and you can even get it to go). One thing you won’t find at A-OK, according to the neon sign over the entrance, MSG.
