The recently opened Hightower will begin serving brunch this weekend. The restaurant at 1209 E. 7th St. will run brunch 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with a menu that includes items like ceviche ($9), smoked Gulf red fish spread ($9), steak sandwich ($12), and boudin hash with a soft-boiled egg ($10). In addition to classic brunch cocktails like mimosas ($1.50), the Hightower will also serve adult sno-cone flavors like Coconut Kahlua ($3.50).
