Picture-perfect weather has attendees grinning ear to ear today at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

It’s sunny right now and temperatures are in the mid-70s, with an expected high of 82, according to my trusty iPhone.

Rain that fell overnight - .76 inches at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and .43 inches at Camp Mabry - has, however, created a few muddy spots around the park, so keep an eye out for those.

The low this evening will be a chilly 54 degrees.

The cooler weather arrived early Saturday night, surprising many festival-goers. Blankets that had been used for sitting were quickly fashioned into wraps as shivering, short-sleeved fans of the Kings of Leon and The Cure stuck around to hear their favorite bands.

Still, few people were complaining. In past years, temperatures during the festival have often hit 100 degrees - or higher.

"I like the change," said Paola Finol, who is visiting from Houston. "This is my third year at ACL and this is the coldest it’s ever been."
