The Waterboys show, scheduled at the outdoors Belmont stage has been moved to the Parish due to the threat of heavy rains. This could be epic. Lone original member Mike Scott (the Ray Benson of the group) always had one foot in British Isle folk music and one foot in the Bowery junk rock scene, but the mix can be intoxicating. And the two-hour shows on this tour, with a somewhat chronological set list, have been termed quite magical. Opening is Freddie Stevenson, a Scottish singer-songwriter now living in Brooklyn. 7:30 p.m. $26 in advance, $30 at the door. 305 W. Sixth St. www.thebelmostaustin.com
