Grab your orange wigs and get ready to riot, pop-punk fans: Paramore is coming to the Austin360 Amphitheater on Friday. True, the Warped Tour mainstays behind hits like "Misery Business" and "That’s What You Get" shed a couple of founding members in a recent band shakeup. But the band, led by powerhouse frontwoman Hayley Williams (also of "Airplanes" fame), returned this year with a mature, far-stronger-than-you’d-expect fourth album, simply titled "Paramore." Expect old tunes you used to hear in Hot Topic as well as new rockers like "Still Into You" and "Ain’t It Fun." Opening bands Metric ("Gold Guns Girls") and Hellogoodbye ("Here (In Your Arms)") should prove to be uncannily complimentary acts.
If you’d like to be our guest at the show email us the answer to this Paramore trivia question before noon on Tuesday, Oct. 29:
What famous singer-songwriter once called Paramore singer Hayley Williams "the great orange hope"?
One winner will be selected at random from the correct responses we receive. The winner will receive a pair of tickets to the show at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Friday, Nov. 1.
