The Americana Music Association released its top 10 and top 100 songs list today. Austinites made a strong showing in the top ten. Patty Griffin’s excellent "American Kid" came in at number four. Austin’s first couple of country music Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison scored a sixth place slot and Carrie Rodriguez came in at number nine.

The list was compiled based on records reported to the Americana Airplay Chart from affiliated terrestrial radio stations, nationally syndicated shows, satellite radio and internet stations.

Here’s the complete top 10 list:
