KDRP-FM DJ Larry Monroe held court every Wednesday evening at Guero’s on South Congress with his "Texas Radio Live" program, presenting performances by and interviews with local musicians. This Wednesday, the focus turns to Monroe, who died on Friday from respiratory problems at age 71.

More than a dozen acts have been confirmed for the 6-9 p.m. event, which airs live on KDRP. Performers include Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Ruthie Foster, W.C. Clark, Cleve & Lissa Hattersley, the Austin Lounge Lizards, Harvey "Tex Thomas" Young & Danny Levin, Slaid Cleaves, Guy Forsyth, Ernie Durawa, Speedy Sparks, Mike Buck and Will Knaak.
