Here’s some thrilling news from on the South By Southwest hip-hop front. Chance the Rapper, whose astoundingly good 2013 mixtape ‘Acid Rap’ topped many critics’ year-end lists is coming to SXSW 2014. The rapper will be headlining the City of Chicago showcase.

This follows a quiet announcement a couple weeks back that the red hot A$AP Mob will headline the House of Vans showcase on Thursday, March 13 at the Mohawk.

Some folks will also probably be psyched to see that oddball Tech N9ne is headlining the Strange Music showcase. After last year’s near miss with Insane Clown Posse this might be the best you’re getting my Juggalos.

Worth noting that Diddy’s bringing the Revolt.tv Tourto Austin for SXSW. No lineup yet but my money says it will be good. Revolt.tv, after all, was the first source to break the OutKast Reunion story last year. Also worth noting that Andre 3000’s Hendrix biopic is premiering at SXSW. Just sayin’, y’all!
