Los Angeles-based prog rock group Tool amassed a rather cultish following in the 1990s with albums like "Undertow" and "Ænima."The band hasn’t released an album of new material since 2006’s "10,000 Days," though there’s buzz that a fifth album is in the works and will be released before the end of the year. See the band — and, perhaps, some new material — when the band’s tour makes it to the Cedar Park Center March 24. Tickets go on sale Friday for $75.

A bit further out: Disappointed you missed Lionel Richie’s rained-out set on the final weekend of ACL Fest this past year? The "All Night Long" singer will play Austin360 Amphitheater July 10 along with CeeLo Green, and tickets go on sale next Friday for $25-$125.

Festival notes: Discounted early-bird tickets to Fun Fun Fun Fest (Nov. 7-9) went on sale for $155 on Wednesday, and Austin Psych Fest (May 2-4) announced its second wave of artists earlier this week. Newly added? Panda Bear, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Dandy Warhols, the Fresh & Onlys and Mikal Cronin, among others.
