When Los Angeles’ Vintage Trouble played ACL Fest last year, Statesman music writer Deborah Sengupta Stith declared the bluesy rock group the sleeper hit of the festival, praising lead singer Ty Taylor for his strong, James Brown-influenced vocals and impressive dance moves on the Austin Ventures stage both weekends. Haven’t had a chance to see the band yet? You have your chance to rectify this next month, when the band plays the Belmont May 31. Tickets go on sale Friday morning for $15 apiece.
