The stars will shine bright on "Austin City Limits" June 26 as the landmark TV show continues a yearlong commemoration of its 40th season with a concert taping at ACL Live featuring Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clark Jr., Kris Kristofferson and co-hosts Jeff Bridges and Sheryl Crow.

"KLRU Presents: Austin City Limits Celebrates 40 Years" will benefit the Austin PBS station that produces the show, the nation’s longest-running music TV series ever. Also on the bill are T Bone Burnett, Alabama Shakes, Joe Ely, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Earl Keen, Lloyd Maines, Grupo Fantasma and Doyle Bramhall II.

Footage from the concert will be combined with scenes from last month’s ACL Hall of Fame induction ceremony in a two-hour PBS prime-time special set to air at 8 p.m. on Oct. 3. Tickets start at $75 and will available at www.klru.org/benefit at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16.

Regular tapings for the 40th season of "Austin City Limits" began in April and continue through the spring and summer. The season-opening episode will air on Oct. 4. Upcoming tapings include Valerie June on May 28, Ed Sheeran on June 11, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds on July 20, White Denim on Aug. 4, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down on Aug. 14, and Eric Church on Sept. 23. Ticket giveway details are posted on www.acltv.com about a week before each show.
