"South of Nowhere," the debut release from this trio featuring Austin’s Adrian Quesada, Dante Schwebel of Hacienda and Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket, dropped May 27 to high critical acclaim. Muscular but psychedelic, sentimental but paranoid, the band’s formula is highly evocative and thoroughly enthralling.
