Last Friday, rootsy rockers Wilco thrilled fans with the surprise release of a new free album “Star Wars.” (Eric Webb said the release left him blank with its “wavy guitars and indistinct, uninteresting vocals” last week on 360 First Spins our weekly new release roundup.) Yesterday the band announced plans for a two-month end of summer tour that wraps up with a two night stand at Stubb’s BBQ on Sept. 29-30. Tickets are $45 advance and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
