Oshun at the Sahara Lounge. The duo, a pair of NYU students, call their sound “Iya-Sol,” an amalgamation of the West African Yoruba term for priestess and soul, as in soul music, or sun. Hosted by Riders Against the Storm with local artists Alessi Lani, David Sha and Blackchyl of Mindz of a Different Kind opening. $10. 10 p.m. 1413 Webberville Road. — D.S.S.
