Gale Theatre Company s production of “Salom ” combines dance, acrobatics and a huge bath tub filled to the brim with water to give Salom her voice back. Contributed by the Vortex.

Gale Theatre Company presents this adaptation of Oscar Wilder’s tragedy about the princess of Judea. “Salomé” is about one of the Bible’s most seductive, dangerous and misunderstood women who danced for the court, offered her body to her stepfather and asked for the head of John the Baptist in return. Her story and her demand were vital to the fate of Jesus and the modern church.

In this new production, the story begins after the death of John the Baptist.
